The Saved Seed
The NIGC donated the book, The Saved Seed, to the Daspit Elementary School Library, where the club sponsors the Daspit Elementary Jr. Youth Garden Club.  Seen here are Tammie Latiolais, school club sponsor, Joy Hudson, President NIGC, and Julie Burns, school librarian.  The presentation took place during the Daspit Jr. Youth Garden Club October meeting.  Joy Hudson also read the book to the club.

 New Iberia Garden Club took the challenge.   

 We registered 13 gardens in the LGCF Million Pollinator Garden Challenge.   Go to the Million Pollinator Garden Challenge website and find the map and look for our gardens.
